Steps to take before admission


Please complete and return the pre-admission forms.

If you are insured, please contact your insurance company and check that your policy will cover your admission and treatment.

If you are not insured, please ensure that payment by cheque is received by the hospital seven days in advance of your admission. Alternatively you may wish to pay by credit/debit card on or before admission - please remember to bring your card and present it at the main reception on arrival.

If you should require crutches or walking sticks on discharge, these will be loaned to you. A refundable deposit of £20 in the form of a cheque payable to 'The Orthopaedics & Spine Specialist Hospital' will be requested. This cheque will remain uncashed in the hospital and given back to you when you return the equipment, when advised by your consultant that you no longer require them.

Personal items such as newspapers, telephone calls, visitors' meals and medication to take home will be charged to your account for payment before leaving the hospital.
