What If Treatment/Surgery Is Required?

Your Surgeon will advise whether further treatment/surgery is required. You will be offered a date for admission and your Surgeon will give you a useful booklet detailing all that will happen when you come into hospital. Patients can receive their treatment as ‘day cases, inpatients or sometimes if not long is required in hospital we will admit you as a ‘short stay patient’.

Shortly after your outpatient consultation you will receive an admission pack by post, this will confirm the details of your admission and contain a questionnaire that we would ask you to complete and return. Some patients may be asked to attend the hospital for pre-admission consultation/tests with our nurse; we will advise you if a pre-admission check is required.
